Ducks with the expansion in
Abducktion bundle
The duck kidnapping box with the IntergalacDuck expansion packed inside, so the research pods and glitter ducks are there from the start.
Abducktion is our quiet, slightly unhinged logic game: a flexible UFO, a pile of plastic ducks, and shapes you have to spot before anybody else does. This version ships the expansion inside the main box, which adds research pods, glitter ducks and extra formations. Two minutes to explain, under half an hour to finish, and still mean enough that winning counts.
Ducks and a UFO
The box holds a crowd of plastic ducks, a flexible silicone UFO, player boards and two card decks. The pieces do most of the teaching as soon as they hit the table.
Shapes under pressure
You are looking for formations in a flock that other people keep rearranging. The thinking is spatial rather than verbal, which makes it a good landing spot after a loud word game.
Expansion already in
Research pods and glitter ducks come in the same box and now store there too. Play runs a little longer with them and the formations get trickier to lock down.
Two to six at the table
It works as a tight duel and as a group puzzle without feeling like a different game. Grownups and sharp kids can sit in the same round.
